What do you think of people who say guys like you more when they are not your primary reason for waking up and living your life?

My friends who married young were busy with their religion, their careers, their jobs, their families, the guy was just a part of their life and not the whole part.

My friends who made the guy the primary purpose for them living their lives either married later or did not marry at all.

A purposeful and busy woman is better

A person who waits on him all day is more attractive

I'm not one who married straight out of college, while working a part-time job. I had bills to pay, but was in a relationship. I mean, sure, would I have liked to get married and have been taken care of immediately? Maybe it could've happened, but it didn't. That relationship didn't work out cause apparently, I didn't love him enough to skip work, to watch his extra curricular sports. He did make more money, and he was my type, but he wasn't paying my bills. So...
