The biggest issue is that couples allow children to ruin their lives and marriage. They put so much effort into distancing themselves from their spouse all for the sake of raising clones. Those of us who do not have kids do not live like that.

There are many reasons...
When boyfriend/girlfriend expectations are a few to none
But when married the Woman/Partner start do Day dream about house, cars, lots of money, without moving a finger, and that is where the Stress makes its way in married life, and the list continues as.. one of them doesn't earn enough, one of them cheated, one of them drank the savings, one of them does not contribute to daily/monthly expenses, etc, etc..

Life has stress in it, an SO is supposed to relieve stress, not add to it.
If they are anything but comforting and stress relieving, then its the wrong person.
