Why do married men tend to be more miserable than married women?

men submit to avoid nagging but get nagged. miserable. so she gets her way she not miserable! and after all his submission she divorces him and annuls the pre nup!

that is why we need jesus "til death you part". as series 2 n half men pointed out in first season! what happened to marriage vows?

More married men are miserable maybe because their wives have high paying jobs and the husbands have to stay home and cook and clean and that's something a woman should be doing, so I can understand why the men would be miserable because men don't want to be seen with a successful and accomplished woman, women don't even get paid as much as men do, so it would be a better idea for her to quit her job and start being a housewife to a man who works and puts food on the table.

That's not true at all, study show that both men and women are statistically much more likely to be happy when they are married. And healthier.

Nothing in it for them. Woman for the most part are a depreciating asset. So the longer the relationship goes the less value the woman has yest the guy still has to put up with all the bs that goes w/ dealing with women.

Good question. Because men are raised to Believe that marriage and children is the ultimate goal of living. What they are not told is the power that women have and the bad behavior that women engage in. Particularly recently. Women can turn a happy marriage into a nightmare in about 24 hours or less. Men are also not told about women's hypergamy which seems to be the driving Force behind the lot of women's behavior, including their proclivity for cheating and lying.
