what it means how to make him miss her. Because right now it appears that she needs him and isn't getting enough attention from him, but he is apparently just fine and not bothered.

So, this is just my opinion, but it sounds to me like she got mad at him for something he said, and she let him know that she was upset about it. He probably felt like she was being too dramatic, so he withdrew and decided to spend less time with her. Because she was causing him stress.

There are two approaches.

She can criticize him when he says something wrong but that is what she has been doing and that approach usually doesn't work.

The other approach is to reward him with some special treat when they talk and he is considerate of her feelings. And she should ignore it when he says something insensitive; if she feels badly, she could temporarily withdraw as he has done. But it is possible that she is being overly sensitive and that the problem lies within her. How did these two get married, have a child, and stay married for 12 years?
