I wouldn't say they're choosing "celibacy". But I do think a lot of men are choosing to live a "no strings attached" sort of lifestyle. No complications. Red flags are usually momentary blips in your dating experience and then you say bye to them without remorse. And just keep doing you.
And I think it's tough for some guys, especially in larger cities which tends to have the most hard-headed people in general, men and women, dealing with a female who doesn't think she needs to improve anything about herself and she's just the epitome of what it means to be female, by hating dude-kind, trashing dude-kind to your face, and then trying to get into dude-kind's pants, after which trashing dude-kind all over again.
Not all chicks are like this, but you never know who you're going to get, and sometimes the red flags don't start to pop until a month or two into the relationship when everyone starts to feel more relaxed in the relationship.
As such, why even take that chance that you'll end up developing feelings for a crazy person? That's just modern guy logic. We tend to hate complications, and we hate having to conversationally tiptoe around crazy people's feelings, beliefs, etc., else deal with the wrath of the daughters of Mother Goddess.

I took a year off from woman a while back and probably was never more focused, healthy and productive in my life. I enjoyed it so much, I did it again. Didn't ask for anyone's number, never texted anyone back, was busy almost every night I got invited out etc.
And when I went back to getting laid, it was way easier. Like I just spent two years straight of saying no to woman. You think your silly shit test is gonna work on me now?
I already kinda didn't gaf but now I really don't and not only do woman work harder to stay in contact with me, it's been easier to make them cum through penetration so I guess that means they're more attracted to me and they're much more enjoyable to be around.

I have friends who are partnered but disagree with marriage as a concept. It's pretty neat.
I think grown adults can choose to date and be in relationships as they wish, provided all parties are consenting and eyes-wide-open sorta things.
I'm happy with either or honesty. I could live as a single person or marry if I find the right guy for me.

Thanks to social media the average woman thinks they deserve a millionaire. So by 2030 there will be many men who are doing great that are involuntarily celibate lol
American, educated, white middle and upper middle class women in the Suburbs have been irreversibly corrupted by Feminism, Wokism and SJ Warriorism. Culturally, they detest men even though they need them to exploit. Lacking any desire to be "trad-wives" and mothers with useful domestic skills, they have reduced themselves to offer only the two P's to any temporary (they mostly are) marriage: Pussy and Paycheck.
Inevitably, too many expect divorce as soon they believe they are financially secure enough and then commence to destroying a man's reputation, career, finances and relationship with his children (if she missed her pill). In short, these women have become IED's. We don't necessarily choose celibacy so long as the Hookup Culture holds out to provide a sexual outlet.
American, educated, white middle and upper middle class women have become an unacceptable risk. We either become mostly celibate (VolCel), unless we can recruit more reliable women from off shore, which is exactly what I did. American, educated, white middle and upper middle class women did this to themselves and they are paying the price. They may earn well, but their lives suck.
For me, it was primarily because I had enough money saved finally to buy a house without a mortgage. Yet it would require moving far away from Tokyo (too rich for my blood).
I thought it only right given how much I was asking of my wife (then girlfriend) to move far away with me that I ask her hand in marriage as part of that process. I bundled them together: "I have enough to buy a home for us and would like you to stay with me if you'll have my hand in marriage."
I also came to fall in love with her family. I wanted to unite our two families together. Marriage had that effect and my family has become hers and her family has become mine. We all spend time together.
I dunno if men are “opting out” on decent women. It’s just that decent women are harder to find given the “modern” culture we now live in. That doesn’t mean they still exist. They definitely do they often get scooped up quick. Or they started out decent but maybe got burned bad by a guy or two and then “rebel” because they can. It’s far easier to be promiscuous if you are at least a semi attractive woman vs her male counterpart (not saying it’s right either way)
Also about celibacy. Very few guys are truly sexually “pure”. I have met a few unique guys who claim they don’t even masterbate. But porn addiction is a very serious problem for men nowadays (and some women as well).
There's little point in getting married if you don't want kids. The tax benefits don't outweigh the potential financial risks for the main wage earner, unless there's an iron-clad pre-nuptial involved.
You can now live together for as long as you want in any state in the USA and not be considered married by common law, except for these states: as it currently stands, Mississippi, Michigan, Florida, and Virginia currently have laws on the books banning cohabitation!! Does it stop people or are those laws enforced? Rarely, but they have been, and they could be!
#ThanosWasRight. I'm all for massive depopulation. I think it's a false dichotomy to say marriage or celibacy though. There's clearly quite a good number of women out there who feel like they have no time for a relationship and their careers and just want someone to work out their frustration with. Sex isn't hard to come by, sex with someone you can connect with and grow to love is the harder search.
I think many women are repellant to men. Their only option is to sleep with a man as soon as possible and hope he feels guilty enough to stick around, if theyre looking for a relationship (a man with money to spend). Very few quality women are in the world today.
A lot of it is involuntary…women these days are set on either finding their dream guy or just sleeping around, there’s no in between. So that leaves most average and below average guys screwed since they aren’t tall or well endowed, and many are balding and not well off financially.

I have observed what marriage does to both men and women. Call me crazy but they look to me almost completely drained of life. It is clearly visible, that marriage has ruined them. I wonder who is the vampire, that shows up to drain the vitality of these married zombies?
Its a sad situation. Family is the best thing in life. Women today from what I have seen are more career focused and frankly self absorbed to be a wife and mother. And the men have been feminized by society. Divorce is a huge financial burden in men and a terrible risk. Put it all together and you have few children.
A lot of men are choosing celibacy, remaining single or at least uncommitted, because they know they’ll lose money and resources from a pointless divorce thanks to no fault divorce law which only benefits women. Men know the risks outweigh the benefits.
Men have put modern marriage through a Risk - Benefit and decided that marriage today just is not worth the risk. there are few women worth dating let alone marrying, everything is and around Dating/Marriage slanted against men, so the only winning move is not to play.

Although I've been kept strictly celibate for many years, I'm a firm believer in encouraging the woman I'm dating/serving to have the freedom to date other guys whenever she wants, to ensure that she's very well taken care of sexually.
