Do I need to give my brother a $500 cash wedding gift for a wedding I really really don’t even want to attend?

I can afford it. It won’t be a burden to me. However, I don’t even want to go to this wedding as I do not like her, so I feel like that’s a lot. My mom said I should give him that. and while things might be a little tight for him right now, between her job and his job, very likely they could be making half a million combined in a few years. Even now they’re probably pulling in 200 K combined. I feel like $200 is more than fair.
