My husbands family doesn’t like me. how to feel better?

I want to make this clear, I have low self esteem, depression, and anxiety. I have no family or friends.
My husband’s family are mostly females and when they met me they felt jealous of me. I helped them economically and even show their daughter how to drive but they still feel jealous I can feel it. Imagine if they knew I have an illness that might kill me if I do something wrong. On social media they’re always watching what I’m doing and never like my posts but when my husband’s posts something they’re all over him. His sister used to look for him only when o was not around and his others sisters I helped them and they talk crap about me to him a x he just listened but never stopped them. I’m so done. My ex is my neighbor and he’s so happy with his wife and long time ago I asked for advice and he told me that if his family insults his wife the one who’s there for him he immediately would called them out. My husband might not cheat but with that attitude and his family just killed all my feelings

He does t defend me from them that’s my issue. At least my ex cheats on his wife but loves and is obsessed with her.

Ugh girl, that sounds seriously messed up what you've had to deal with from his family 😖 And your husband not standing up for you makes it 10X worse!

A few things:

- Don't let their bitterness bring you down - you know you've done nothing wrong. They're clearly just jealous hose beasts 🙄

- Your hubby really needs to grow a backbone and tell them to back off respectfully or you guys won't be around. Their behavior is rude AF.

- Might help for you to limit contact as much as possible. Don't go out of your way to help them if they're just gonna talk trash behind your back.

- Do things with your friends/your own space away from the drama when you can. Don't give them so much power over your happiness

- Consider couples counseling too so you both learn to set healthier boundaries. You don't deserve that crap, sis!

In the end all you can control is yourself - keep doing you and focus on your health. But please know you deserve so much better support from him 💜 You've got this!

Ok I have to say there has to be more to it than them just being jealous. A man’s entire family isn’t going to hate her cause they’re all jealous. My family hates my ex. That was cause I didn’t give into her stupidity so she slapped me in front of my brothers as well as my sisters. Even before that a number of people on my town knew she was like that. A lot of people never liked her to begin with. Are they jealous cause you keep him away from them a lot or complain when he goes to see them or wants to spend time w them? I just find it hard to believe that they’re all “jealous” of you. Unless you’re like my ex who had a reputation that they already knew about.

You need to have a conversation to him and bring this up. Bring up the fact that he does not defend you.

Be happy that your husband does live and like you. Let his family feel whatever they want, you have the relationship with him.
