Is it selfish and/or immature to want to get married but not settle down?

I want to get married and have the woman who I love more than anyone at my side but I don't want to buy a house or have kids or any of that stuff. I want to go on adventures and always see new things. I want the honeymoon phase to last the whole marriage and always be exploring with little to no responsibilities to anyone but her. Do you think that's stupid or selfish or immature?

It may be selfish, I don't know. But I don't think it's stupid, and I definitely understand the appeal. My husband and I definitely want kids, but at the same time we are having so much fun as it is that it's hard to let go.

No it's not. Everyone would like to do that in life. Eventually the honeymoon phase won't last forever.

if you get married, you have to settle down you can’t cheat on her, but you can still be adventurous and live on the edge as long as you don’t get yourself killed mountain climbing or skydiving or parachute jumping
