How to feel about this? Am I overthinking it or is it really not that much of a big deal?

I 25f have been married to partner 31m for almost about a year now prior to knowing one another for 6 months. I'm from the uk.

My husband is a police officer and his colleague is getting married today and my husband has gone to the wedding. I didn't ask my husband too much, he just told me last month that he got invited to his colleagues wedding and that he will be going.
I've been thinking why I've not been invited, husband told me he was quite close to this colleague (he's a guy).
I'm not sure how I'm feeling if im honest.

I mean I know some say if you don't know these people then don't expect to get invited so I'm not that bothered and at the same time I slightly am. Husband said he did not expect to get invited and told me today that he used to close to this colleague. The wedding is all the way to another city, 4hr travel and it's at 6pm. My husband told me it's probably a reception. He told me this afternoon that he will eat at the wedding, a table was booked.

I just feel like he probably didn't want me to go with him, realistically he could've just asked if he can bring his wife with him but at the same time I do get it as it's not exactly a respectful thing to do in my eyes, If not invited don't ask.

His phone is showing one tick now, the reception must be bad. It's been 3 hrs since he last messaged.

Is it possible to not have reception at a wedding place? WhatsApp messages seem to be one tick
