My wife can be so extra and she exaggerating on things when it's not a big deal.

Now here is where we bumped heads my wife is so frugal. We don't have to be frugal we bought have good paying jobs and we make good money. We have side mini business over the weekends. We are not wealthy but we do have decent nice income.

I have my eye on this new mansion that was just recently built. I try to get my wife into buying it. My wife like always she is so extra and exaggerating being so cheap when it comes to this. Now my wife goes on about how much we will spend on cleaning products dispute she cleans rich people homes on the weekends and owns good cleaning supplies that's isn't an issue for us to clean this big mansion.

We work so hard why not treat our selfs. We live in a tiny three bedroom small house of course my wife cheap idea keeps insisting that she wants a paid off home and has no intention of buying a new home.

We did called the realtor and we saw the mansion it is beautiful perfect for my buddy's and family to hang out. But my wife is just so cheap all she does is accumulate money collect dust in the bank never wants to buy nice things she never wants to buy new stuff she's always at thrift stores which is embarrassing when my mom comes over to visit.

I want a nice home for when my parents come visit or friends from my childhood come visit. Why does my wife have this mindset? Accumulate money and never get to enjoy it. My wife tells me that

Our cars are paid off. We don't have debt except our small house which looks like a toy house from fisher price. I feel embarrassed when my friends and my side of the family see my small house. My buddy's had bought nice mansions while I live in this embarrassing house. My parents were wealthy and they always bought huge homes. Why live in a small house when we can actually afford a mansion?
