No. I'm not a virgin and it's ridiculous to expect my wife to be one. However, I would prefer my wife hasn't had a past of promiscuity where she slept around and became the village bicycle.

I'm not gonna be the guy a girl "settles with" after "having her fun". Having a similar sexual history or body count is probably the best thing for compatibility. That way, no one feels jealous, superior, or inferior.

All the people who have slept around are probably better suited for each other, and all the people who chose not to sleep around are probably better suited for each other.

in my opinion as long as she has a low body count (under 5) it's fine. I'm a virgin myself, so I would prefer her to be a virgin also, but that's not so common in my age range.

At the end of the day, being a virgin doesn't make a woman league's above all the others. Personality, compatibility and character are the most important things in a relationship.

I would marry a lady who already lost her virginity, and wouldn't shame her for it at all.

Nah, at my age I just expect that whoever I end up with isn't a virgin anymore. I don't like marrying though in general, I only want to do it when its absolutely necessary. Otherwise I like the government out of it since the government is partial and one sided on those issues. It would entrap me but not her, creating a power imbalance in the relationship that I don't want.
