I've been to a couple weddings that didn't allow cellphones. It's likely because of a licensing agreement with the photography company. Additionally, they might not want disruptions and/or guests to be posting their wedding to social media.
Not all that uncommon.
They should be banned from all public functions and venues. Leave them at home or at work.
So you try to pretend you were there but have an explanation for why you conveniently don't have any proof
Photography, no distractions or merely the old terrorism risk isn't impossible
I guess they don't want their wedding to be on the Internet
