Do guys prefer really revealing at a  Halloween  party? Is less better or is it good to cover up and go for something less... Slutty?

Have fun without being trashy. Guys have fun with stupid costumes, why do we feel like it has to be provocative.

If you want the attention so badly, you really have issues.
You shouldn't need to get that much male attention to feel good about yourself.
I am a thin and attractive female, and I have enough self worth and confidence that I don't need to show my tits and vagina to feel accepted by men around me.
Yeah they will notice you and they may even fake interest in you but they don't respect you or even see you as a person. You are what you are portraying yourself as... a walking vagina with tits held together with some generic human parts like arms and legs, waiting for someone to take home and have their way with.

"NO I'm interesting and fun!"... yeah, I bet your a real deep intellectual "like literally".
If you look like a cheap lay... guys know that you are easy to fool and eventually you will give it up because you are so desperate for acceptance you will do ANYTHING to have them like you... but they won't and don't.
You are just a lay. So when you are crying to your girls later "Oh my god I was so stupid, why did I let myself... blah blah". You did it to yourself.

You can have fun WITHOUT the need for sexual male attention.

WEll, I will ask some straight questions. ARe you going to find a guy to sleep with? Then slutty will do it. IF there will be alcohol there and maybe some drugs, and you just want attention, you may be inviting a rapist. Women should know that MEN ARE VISUALLY TURNED ON at your age, so, yes, a slutty costume will get youplenty of notice, but you may find it causing a problem. I suggest you read some different women's blogs about how what you wear speaks for you. I do not have that data, but I wrote out of concern that you might be setting yourself up for some trouble. If nobody else tells you this, then I have done m y job. If others tell you this as well, maybe you are getting a lot of good advice. Most your guys will tell you to do in a thong bikini or as Wonder woman, or maybe a slutty nurse, but you may want to hear from some older women on t his. Please look into this.

Some H'ween parties are classy and your costume should be just as sexy and classy as normal. But if it's more casual and it's accepted that you'll be taking the opportunity to dress sexier than you normally would then anything short of nude is just fine. Unless you are actually nude and wearing paint; that's okay if it's well done. But so is being totally covered.

Though I guess my preference is for something more revealing, since every costume I can think of somehow features a thong and a bare booty.

When I was at my last college (a huge party school) there was a girl who literally just wore lingerie. I knew the play was to hint at it, but I couldn't believe she just did. She just wore her sexy underwear. So I guess there is no limit. Just wear some lingerie.
