Her pointing at an really old english couple probably on a pension holiday holding hands as they walk around looking at the statues and buildings,

and says "Ohhh how sweet. look look look," and looks at me with her big eyes, "I want us to be like that when we get that old"

It's cheesy and am not into cheesy stuff but it totally blew me away. I thought she was taking the piss about it but it hit me when I realized she was being serious.

It was the simplest thing. I was on the phone with my boyfriend. We'd both had a rough day and talked it out. I explained how it felt that none of my friends needed me anymore (I basically helped them with everything since 4th grade, like a second mother to them all).

Then he told me, "They're just growing up but I need you." It was just the way he said it, and that was the first time I've ever had someone tell me they need me.
