Would you wear an expensive but ugly gift?

Your mom & or dad buys you an outfit, they want to take you out in public just to spend time with you and they want you to wear it.
They said it cost so much money they had to save up for awhile to be able to afford it, they bought it because it reminded them so much of what you used to wear when you were little.
Would you wear it? in public? people will see you and probably take pictures..

I'd wear it out while I was with them to make them happy, but after that nope.
If someone has gone to that much thought and trouble for me I can suck it up and wear the ugly thing for a few hours, as well as working on my hints at what I do like for next time haha

Even if it was a cheap one I would wear it, it's a gift. (But it doesn't mean I would wear it everyday)

I received an expensive old style golden Swiss wristwatch from my employer
My father in law too received one at his job. I inherited it.
Both are in a drawer, I don't think I'll ever wear one of them.
