this question just popped into my mind I have many guy mates who tend to crash at mine and we end up sharing a bed. I just wondered if guys are OK with there girlfriends sharing a bed with a guy mate or would you think something was going on between them?

HELL NO! I don't have a problem if my girlfriend wants to go out and hang out with a guy or w/e but sleeping in the same bed. f*** that sh*t. And I saw that you allow your boyfriend to do the same thing. Chances are he is taking advantage of you trust him. Obviously you can't prove it and have to go by his word. But I don't care how faithful a guy is, if a guys girlfriend allows him to sleep in the same bed as another girl he is probably going to take advantage of that. Also maybe he tries to be as faithful as possible, but the girl he is sleeping with manipulates him and gets him to do some things. Obviously trust is a huge part in a relationship, but that is way too much trust. But then again it could be a culture difference, what country do you live in? Because I don't know anyone who says mates in America. If that's the case then our culture difference could be a huge factor as to why I say hell no, and why your boyfriend is fine with it. But if not, he might be fine with it, because he doesn't care if you are faithful or not because he knows he can be with you as your boyfriend and get with any girl he sleeps in the same bed with behind your back. When it comes to two girls sleeping in the same bed? I don't have a problem with it because in my culture that is completely fine for girls to do. Guys would never do that though with another guy. But if I found out that you fooled around with that girl, I would probably be upset. But even though I would be upset, you sleeping in the same bed and not doing anything with the guy, according to you, would still p*ss me off more.

2) Even if she thought it was innocent, I very well remember when I was the guy "innocently" sleeping with a girl in bed. Yeah... not so innocent. Even if you're insisting that none of that is happening, I guarantee that your "mate" is thinking about it... maybe even rubbing one out while you're asleep mext to him.

Well lots of people think that why but you guys are forgetting if you cnt trust your girlfriend to do then then can you trust them when there out with guy mates or exs when your not around. because your sharing a bed, if they gay or straight and you sleeping heads and tails does not mean they will try something. Its all based on trust and how much you your relationship means to you.

QA while it's true that if you can't trust a girl around guys at all, you get into all kinds of weird territory. However, directly comparing going out with guy friends and sleeping just the two of you with a guy "friend" in bed next to you, that's at best ditzy and at worst malevolently manipulative.

That comparison only serves as an excuse for you to get away with cheating by accusing the guy of being jealous if he gets suspicious.

i think that is pretty disrespectful to a relationship. people in relationships shouldn't do that, its just not right. come on, a hetero guy and a hetero girl in bed together? especially since most guys are either liking or attracted to their female friends? its just a bad situation and very easy for something to happen. No. Even if nothing went on physically, sleeping with my girlfriend is a private emotional situation, not a goddamn handshake. Regardless of whether sexual cheating occurred, I'd consider it emotional cheating (not to mention, it's be almost impossible to get me to assume that nothing else happened).

I'd end the relationship at that point.

As for the update, I definitely wouldn't mind as much given that my girlfriend isn't bisexual and the other girl isn't either (and isn't a lesbian). Women sleeping in bed platonically is possible, but if there's a window for sexual connection, it's all the same level of cheating regardless of the genders given.

Oh and yes, I'm saying it's the exact same for me sleeping in bed with a female "friend".
