Today I went to the Lenskart. com store.All the stores look the same.Got my eyes tested there and then ordered the spectacles. They will be home delivered to my hostel. I saw the process as a really fluid process. You just go there, get your eyes tested, select a frame and the lens variant and they do the rest. You just need to have the app installed in your smartphone.
I have noticed that, recently, quite a number of such stored have opened. A customer needs to feel the product, check if the product is right for them or not. Nothing more. They can order through the store or online. Smartphone stores are also like this. I have seen that Samsung, oppo, Vivo and other company shops to hold very less inventory. Customers just come there, see the smartphone for themselves and order online, as it is cheap there. Getting back to Lenskart.
Your eyes get checked for free. Here both the manual and computerized checking of eyes is done. And your earlier spectacles number is also found with the help of the machine. Then you select the frame. They take the frame number and you select the lens variant. And its done!
You order, opt for in-store delivery or home delivery, pay for it and go home. 4 to 5 days and you have your spectacles on your face!
If you buy the membership, you get a second pair of spectacles for free. All the transactions are excluding taxes.

This question in no sense was supposed to be an advertisement, trust me. Not interested in that kind. I have just shared my experience with you. But it is with this store only. Its been nearly 2 and 1/2 years for my smartphone, so no experience there.
