Don't listen to those dudes. It would be weird if it was something large. But get her something small like a coffee. If she's into you she'll think it's sweet and she'll feel special that you thought of her.

Thank you. I was thinking of getting her a nice bracelet or necklace. Nothing crazy expensive but enough to show I care. But you said, if she's into me she'll think it's sweet. What if she isn't into me? Would she find me weird?
If she is not into you she will obviously get the message that you are. If she's a good person she will level with you say she appreciated the gesture but she's not looking for anything romantic just now.

sheesh luckily I asked before going through lol. Like I like her but am not desperate for a girlfriend. I did make cookies the other day and gave her one before everyone else and talked to her a little. She didn't seem weirded out or anything. But I was going to get her a bracelet or something.
