Anyone ever buy their best friend a present?

My best friend has been wanting to buy a crawfish pot to cook some crawfish for like the last 3 years. I thought about buying one for him for the hell of it. He's like the only friend I have that actually calls me and hangs out with me and he helps me out with stuff. I just think it would make a good surprise for him.

My best friend gave me a necklace in the form of a seashell. This was due to a conversation that took place between us a long time ago. It was a reminder gift and I still wear it. When we were younger, we used to say things to each other that we should come out of our shells and explore life. When she gave me this necklace as a gift, I went to the store and bought her another necklace of the same brand in a different seashell form but they’re matching.
