There are a few things for which I changed the intended use, just to avoid all the crap that goes with returning it. It I buy stuff from a big-name retailer, it goes back if it's junk or busts the first time I use. Some of the stuff from Amazon is so schlocky that they just said to keep it and not return it (The S/H for them would likely be more that the plastic junk was worth). That said, my latest quest is to get a refund on "sod" from Home Depot. It seems to have changed characteristics from KYBlue to creeping bent in the time it took to take root. Now, big clumps of it are dead. I had moved some existing sod into the same area, so I know it's not my gardening practices that are messing it up.

One time I bought the Hannah Jones single, No one can love you more than me, online and they sent me the maxi single 1 instead of maxi single 2, which there's different remixes on both of them, but I did discover there were a couple tracks on there with decent remixes I ended up liking, so I ended up keeping it. I don't know how they screwed up the order in the first place, part 1 has a yellow case in part 2 has a blue case. Still, I ended up enjoying it.

Yes, for a while, `til got a better one. When I first got into eBay, I bought a DVD set of "Lost In Space" without realizing it didn't have the full series, it was missing a few DVD's in the set. I just figured, I can always find the rest later to fill in the rest of the set. Earlier this year, I bought a more modern edition of the entire series.

Ok I had bought what I thought was a TikTok hoodie off Amazon and when it came in the mail it was a crop top I didn't want it but I kept it anyways and still wore it but I don't have it anymore I think my ex's little sister took it because that was the last place I had it at his house never got it back

There is some absolute junk sold online. It's a waste of money to ship back. I've had a few things that were not anything like advertised. Appeared the same but nowhere near as rugged as claimed. Example indestructible shoes puncture and fire proof. They were not.

Sometimes I have. Others I have sent the items back and asked for a refund. It really depends on whether or not I can find a way to make due with said item.

Sometimes something doesn't quite work out exactly like you had planned, but I usually try to use whatever it is for however long it lasts because I don't like wasting things and buying more unnecessary stuff that'll all wind up in a landfill anyway. Usually something can be returned or exchanged, but if not, I just keep it and use it, and only buy something new until I actually  need  (not just want) something. Luckily, I am usually pretty lucky with most purchases I have made.

With Amazon i got lucky a few times i didn't like something and i opted to return it. Then Amazon said. That's fine we'll give you a refund, no need to return.
