Have you ever ordered something very expensive online that you did not need but always wanted to have?

I was very stupid and i ordered something very expensive like over $1k. I did not need it but always wanted to have one. Im still scratching my head if i did the right move because i can't legally use this thing without getting a license for it. Have you ever done something like this and then have some second thoughts about it?

Honestly, I've always wanted to use a typewriter. In the movies I watched, the click-clack sounds made by typewriters sounded very satisfying. So, one day I got a whim and planned to buy this thing. I found a vintage typewriter on the Internet and paid $450 for it.. But my curiosity about typewriting lasted 2-3 days. After that, I took this typewriter to attic and I preferred to forget about the stupidity I did.

Spent more on gold but that comes special or recorded delivery so I know that is safe
