Not looking for advice on what I should do. I'm only looking for what you did to get out of debt.

I’ve only ever had medical debt, and every hospital is legally required to have a financial aid program and because my income has me considered legally impoverished for a one-person household, I’m usually able to get them forgiven almost immediately. Helps a lot.

Just make it a point to do! Don't leave it for later! Pay it off and then get what you want.

I just paid in full every month then stopped using my cards so they cancelled them for inactivity
