I really like an emerald cut but they're one of the most expensive cuts. I would be happy with a bigger center round cut, with smaller round cuts on each side. A friend has that as an engagement ring and she said the smaller stones represent the past and present, and the center, larger stone, represents the future. Her ring is really pretty. Oh, it has to be set in white gold.

I don't like any of them, the center gem is too big compared to the band and the designs are too simple and clunky looking. There is also no color contrast and I don't like that. Something more like this is better for diamond rings.
