When was the last time you went to a record store?

2018 - I went to a used record store (a Bay Area chain ) called Rasputin's. I hadn't been in quite a while prior to that.
These days, I mostly buy used CDs from eBay, but I've already nearly completed my back catalog, other than a rare album that I discover once in a while. I'm a mobile DJ, and I have 4,000+ CDs, plus 30,000+ FLAC files from my DJ music service (as a DJ, I can get legal promotional music for a monthly fee).
Growing up, I spent lots of time and money at Tower Records and The Wherehouse, and occasionally Sam Goody and a few local stores. They're all gone, of course, except for the few local places.
I've never been to a record store although I did go through the records at thrift shops simply cause you never know what kind of treasures those places may hold
I just bought a record player for an upcoming photoshoot. I've not been to a record store probably since I was really young a million years ago, but I did go to the thrift to see if I could find any for cheap. There was nothing but artists I'd literally never heard of, so I went to ebay to buy my all time favorites. I've looked into local record stores, and discovered we have about 5 of them, but looking at their online prices, it's better to shop through eBAY.

I used to go to a CD store. I think it closed in 2002, and I can't remember what was the last CD I bought there. After that I went to a Christian book store and bought lots of CDs there. But it closed too. I can't remember the last group of CDs I bought there.
I have to drive an hour to find a decent record store but I'll make that drive every few weeks.
Last time I got Linkin Park's new album and believe it or not Drowning Pool is still making music. So I got their newer albums as well.
I hope record stores make a comeback cause this digital streaming nonsense is getting dumb.
It's been ages. I used to go with my dad when I was around 8 or 9
Thank you! Yep my friend took it!
Oh man... Tower Records in Boston... 30 years ago... 1995-ish.
A couple of years ago. I think I bought two Guns n' Roses double-CDs.
I was a collectors' store. I bought all 3 CD's of Herbie Hancock's Rockit band.
And sold some 60-70 classic LP's
It was before 1991. I bought Tracey Chapmans album with Fast Car on it.
The only record store I know is two towns over. I don't think it's even open anymore.
I think it was in 2014.
2011
Not in years
