Do you sometimes pass up "special deals" because they are either too intrusive or take too much time to deal with?

I bought an item on eBay a few days ago, and I wanted to check on its progress. When I went there just now, I found that there was a "special deal" offered by eBay, apparently, so that I could get $5 off something or other. I didn't bother with it because it occurred to me that it was going to take up more than $5 worth of my time, and it wasn't worth the exposure of private information. Do you sometimes have these experiences? I view these things as nothing more than spam, and I treat them the same way I treat spam. I delete them.

Yeah. I made the mistake of listening to a telecom salesperson and all the special deals he's going to make for me. 30 minutes of headaches in fine print and scribbling. I came home and threw it all in the trashcan. Ugh, never again.

I usually ignore them. Why should I give away my time for free. I do rate drivers and customer service reps because they need all the help they can get, and I almost always give them perfect ratings.

I do that too. As far as giving my time away for free, I don't do that. Like everybody else, I have a limited amount of time.
