I'm in tears. My heart is broken.My boyfriend doesn't want to spend New Year's Eve with me. He broke plans with me to be with his friends on our first night together this year and now my heart is hurt. I've been crying all day. I haven't stopped. I hate guys sometimes! What to do?

If this is not the first time he did something like this to you and if this is not the last time, then you really need to let go of this guy before you fall harder for him. You are not going to be able to make him any less mean to you. He will always be like that. What will happen is you will begin to accept it more and you will become more and more stressed out and overwhelmed because of it. Don't do that to yourself. It sucks, trust me I know!

I had a friend who was in a similar situation and when she told me about it and when I think about it, it frustrates the heck out of me. I don't get fired up often, but that did because I couldn't understand why someone wouldn't want to be with such an amazing girl on New Years.

Like others said, why not see if you can go with? Or get a bunch of your friends together and have some fun without him.

Huge red flag. Its very selfish and cruel. I'd never do that to my partner. I'd want to spend it with her always. I would want a VERY good reason for doing this. If there isn't one or he turns it around and makes it your fault he did this seriously consider breaking up with him.
