My girlfriend of 9 months makes me feel guilty?

My girlfriend of 9 months today, the 15th makes me feel guilty about certain things I say or do. I feel like she wants to make me feel manipulated. I feel like whenever I want her to do something, she never listens or does what I want.. We're very close. We talk every day. She threatens to dump me if I'm with friends that are girls. I Have no interest in any one else. I never cheat, I'm not a player. I never try to do anything that hurts her because she matters to me. She talks to guys and makes me feel like when I talk to girls, that she will dump me. It's weird.. She talks to other guys and says she doesn't want anyone else. But sometimes I feel like she lies to me. I don't know what else to say but please help!

Honey, dump her! Guilt-trippers over rational behavior like yours are no good. She may be insecure, manipulative, or just controlling, but whatever her issue is, that's not yours to fix. With a healthy partner, you'll only feel guilty if you really did screw up. So run!

You (or anyone for that matter) are way too young for this. I had a relationship like that, where the guy made me feel guilty for wanting alone time to play a video game, and it was sheer Hell.

Also, her demands sound hypocritical. "You can't talk to the opposite sex but I can" for real?! Also, if you feel like she's lying, trust your gut. Liars don't change on their own; they have to want to change, and so far it seems like she won't anytime soon.

Don't cheat on her, but be stern and serious about what she's doing. Don't ever be afraid to lose her, she sees you are and she's taking advantage of it. That's not how things are supposed to work at all.

She's trying to control you. I don't k ow your history with her, but I'd get purified this relationship. She doesn't seem to really care for you, she just cares about controlling you. I don't see this ending well, I'm sorry :-\

Yeah I see. I love her more than anything. She's not as bad as she used to be. But she cares for me and would do anything for me. I don't let her be as controlling as she was. There's certain things she can control me about but other things, nope. Thank you for your reply (:

OK it sounds like you're totally p****-whipped. But at your age you're used to taking orders, so I don't blame you. But you need to start being more assertive and independent-minded. Your girlfriend is manipulating you and she knows it.

It sounds like its going to be tough to get her to change if she can. I think ending the relationship would work best but try to get her to change and listen to you before dumping her right away

she sounds controlling and I don't blame you for not trusting her sometimes..i think she would cheat judging from her actions,she can talk to the guys but you can't talk to girls? she is a control freak.

she should listen to what you have to say/your feelings and take them into consideration and if your as close like you say she shouldn't have a problem with you having female friends because she should know you well enough to trust you. But you shouldn't want to be with someone that makes you feel bad or unhappy you deserve better :)
