Doesn't matter what they feel, just match the parts.
Born a girl but now have a penis, go to the men's room.
Born a guy now have a vagina, stop in the women's room.
The argument on how a person feels when they go to the wrong bathroom is crap, I feel like shit some days but that doesn't mean I sit IN in the toilet. Unless the physical body matches the other physical bodies, trans people shouldn't be switching bathrooms.

In my opinion, no. Bathrooms are not their for political statements, they are there for you to shit in. Just go in the bathroom that is made for the faculties you have.
Have a vagina? You will definitely prefer the woman's bathroom because there is more stalls and I imagine it would be cleaner to sit down. Have a penis? You will enjoy the abundance of urinals and condom dispensers in the men's bathroom.
Ah, I don't care, to be honest.
The ones who get these surgeries wants to be identified as the gender they transform into , so let them be identified as the gender they want to. Let the goddamn people who identify themselves as women go into the ladies room and the people who identify themselves as men go into the men's room, end of discussion. It shouldn't be more complicated than that.

No. Transgender people should simply use the bathroom of the gender they present as. Quite simple.
I'm for complete desegregation of bathrooms. They're shit-holes, not sex clubs or pickup bars.

I would feel vulnerable in a men's washroom. I'm glad I don't have to. Mind you, all my ID including my birth certificate list me as the female that I am. Cis women have no problem with me. I go about my own business like everyone else. Same with locker rooms.
I am a liberal. But I can't get over the fact that if a the idea that men and women can go in the others bathroom should they associate them selves with that gender wouldn't be abused. Its not that i don't trust the transgender community its the fact that i wouldn't trust the non-transgender community. So i apologize on behalf of that community
I've already made my stance on this several times. If you get transgender bathrooms that will only cost the gov more money which means we the citizens would have to pay for it too by paying taxes towards that at least in schools, cause everybody has to pay school taxes regardless if you go to school or not. Money doesn't grow on trees.
Women have separate cubicles anyway, so what's the problem? They don't like the fact someone who was born a male and now considers herself female may see them put makeup on?

and also the transgender female is unlike to find other women attractive either because most transgenders are homosexual pre-op anyway.
I use the family restroom cause I have stomach issues and can can't stand around and wait. Bi straight gay Transgender I don't care as long as your not in my way when I have to use the restroom. I will go to the restroom with women I don't care I'm in the restroom to use it plan and simple.
If you're physically "male", use the male bathrooms. If you're physically "female", use the female bathrooms. That means, if you're biologically male, and you feel and dress like a woman and stuff like that, but you haven't undergone a sex change, use the male bathrooms. If you have undergone a sex change, use the female bathrooms. Seems logical to me.
Hell no! If they're transgender they're just going to have to deal with it! If they don't have lady parts then they don't belong in the womens bathroom! Its not fair to the rest of us either! Geez

I think we should invest more money into treating psychological disorders.
That's not in any way relevant, seeing as being transgender is not a psychological disorder.
How about one bathroom for everyone? That way you don't have to worry about transgenders, because men and women are all in the same place. I have gone to a few bathrooms like that, and it was no big deal. You close the door behind you, and it doesn't matter who's on the other side.
i think that is what a lot of people want to prevent. I don't want to share a bathroom with guys. Also the bathroom laws will probably extend to locker rooms.
Exactly! Lots of places have bathrooms like that and no one gives a shit. They just want to pee or poop.
Private property owners can put up extra restrooms if they want.
Everywhere else, TGs should be required to use the restroom of their chromosomes. You can paint it, you can shoot it up, you can cut it off, but that doesn't change the chromosomes.
I think it depends on how far they are in the transition. If they are like the guy in the pic then they should go to the gender that they wanted to be. Im also on the fence since some people might take advantage of this.
Im suprised by the opinons. I feel like if the guy in the picture were to use a female's restroom then they would probably have security called on them despite them having female genitals. Why aren't people thinking about this?

We want transpeople to be equal in society, yet we want to create a separate bathroom for them?
If they're truly the person they transition into they should go to their designated bathroom. Fucking madness.
The biggest problem with this is the law would be open to interpretation, and if "identifying" one self as Transgender is the only stipulation then some my abuse this and take advantage. This becomes a slippery slope.
Instead of stick figures on the door with skirts or pants. Their should be an image of a penis or vagina. (I know this isn't realistic so keep it to yourself)
