She didn't hold a gun to your head and force you to cheat. You decided to cheat , own your actions and learn from them. If you're feeling guilty about cheating don't deflect the blame onto her own it and the guilt and learn to break up with someone before cheating on them. You could have just left and been the bigger person instead both of you ended up being wrong, her for trying to make your jealous and you for cheating and most people would agree actually cheating on someone is worse than making them jealous, though making them jealous is wrong as well.

Agreed, but whatever happened to if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all.

Why should anyone cater to those who make themselves targets?
No one ever makes themselves a target.
Say whatever you want to anyone. No sense stopping people from speaking their mind.

What do you mean?
I have an ex who was incredibly insecure. She demanded to go through my phone... constantly. Because I let her, she became accustomed to it. It eventually got to the point where she started reading into every little message that I got. If a woman's name showed up in my text log, to her it meant I was cheating. She accused me of flirting with two women... the funny thing is, both of them were my supervisors, and no flirting was going on.
Insecure people + access to SOs phone = disaster
But you can say that to an insecure person. For some reason people think I'm trying to say that you need to walk on eggshells with insecure people, when really I'm saying that you should be considerate of the feelings of those with low self confidence. I have a really bad self esteem, but I would never expect any person, SO or otherwise, to allow me to invade their privacy.
My apologies. I should have qualified what I said. Instead, what I really meant is you can't say that to many insecure people.
