I'm black and most of this is me, except Uggs and I'm picky about my beanies. White nails are an occasional thing, I prefer black or other colors.

They skin the wool right off of sheep for them and they're damaging for the feet because they are not supportive. Just a fun fact.
@amarahorrorstory lmao no they don't. They take their fur off which is how all of your clothing items are made
They may not have the best support but I'm not using them to run, I'm using them to slip on when I'm cold.
@Puppylove94 Didn't say anything about running, they aren't good for your bones. But yes, Uggs have been known to treat animals horrible to make those shoes. Definitely not cruelty-free.
@amarahorrorstory they don't "skin" them though. That's bad wording. All animals that are raised in a consumer based environment are treated badly. Not saying it's right but it's how it is. Do you eat animal products? It's the same thing.
Shoes lacking support aren't all that bad for your feet. Some specialists recommend walking barefoot even.
@Puppylove94 Working on becoming vegan. I know how it works. But as far as becoming cruelty-free, not wearing animals is a good step. Wear them if you want, I just think people should be aware and accept the fact that a lot of their cute stuff could of come from a dead animal. The reason they're bad for you is because it causes stress on your bones, because the lack of support causes you to slide, so yeah, walking barefoot would be better.
@amarahorrorstory I don't wear dead animals. Never have and I never will. It is completely different just chasing the hair off of a sheep lmao. We get haircuts too.
@Puppylove94 I know, but that's not what they do. Wool is fine, sheepies need their little haircuts too, but UGGs does harm animals to make those boots, they just cover it up. A lot of companies that make lots of things do, it's hard to avoid but more people should just do their research. Even if people think it's just a rumor, no item of clothing is cute enough for me to ignore the possibility that it could of harmed an animal in production.
