Eragon was made for 100M and made a little over 249M at the box office. This movie is an adaptation of the video game. Many people do not like this movie and is mad it wasn't really like the video game. Or not as awesome as the video game which was disappointing.

Top 5 Movie Adaptations That Disappointed Audiences
I seen all these movies and they were not that bad. Yes they were not like the books or video games. But they had their own story and that is what the directors aim for. Sometimes more thing's could be added to make the movie even better. I think director's take the easy way out.
Yes they should had made it more adult action. At lesst they should make it like the video game. The video game is bad ass. I think they trying to make a reboot movie.
True. There are a couple of movies I actually really enjoyed and probably still do that people hate like The Cat In The Hat I feel bad that I like it because one of my favorite YouTube movie critics can't stand it ):
Yeah, "The Cat in the Hat" was a very bad idea, like almost all live-action adaptations of cartoons. The Grinch movie could also be put in the category of "What were they thinking?".
I wish Hollywood had every actor of Asian descent in The Last Airbender... I couldn't even take trailer seriously when the main character people were white, and there were ethnicities everywhere, and the bad guy firebenders were all dark-skinned. Also, Sokka was one of the vampires from Twilight. Whitewashing really gets on my nerves. I didn't actually watch the movie.
@Calwri I wish people would stop using the term White washing also Asian actors not being in The Last Airbender was the best thing taht could've happened to them are you kidding?
@Calwri Actually Sokka and Katara resembled more Eskimo than Asian. I remember seeing a Trailer in 2010 I think and just wanted to stick with the show because I love it. The only time I've seen the movie The Last Airbender was in movie reviews like Nostalgia Critic and WatchMojo's Top 10 lists
Ghost in the Shell was an anime with Japanese people, and they had white people take over the roles in the movie adaption, only for Scarlett Johannson to later mention that she was Japanese. Who the hell do white people think they are? Lol. Chameleons? It was kind of cringey. They should have had Japanese actors in that adaption, and perhaps more minorities would have had the chance to rise to fame.
@Calwri The fact that Japanese people in Japan don't care and think its harsh that people are going against Scarlett Johansson for being White shows that your over exaggerating
@Calwri This is actresses I'm talking about regular people in Japan and I think as long as the person does the role good it doesn't matter what the race and the fact that people from Japan agree proves my point
Some Japanese are fine with it, and some are not. That's the point I'm trying to make, as you're talking like the entire nation is chill about it. Really, if you want to make a good movie, at least make it believable and realistic. Back to TLA, I can't take it seriously with all the races in there. I just can't.
@Calwri I didn't say all the nation was cool with it and The Last Airbender's main problem was as many have said too much was cut out like The Kyoshi Warriors weren't even it it :/
Yeah, there was too much detail and information from the show left out of the TLA movie, unless they wanted to make the movie 8 hours long, or something. It shouldn't have become a movie.
@Calwri You should watch Nostalgia Critic's review on The Last Airbender or Cinema Sins video on it they get through with pretty much everything wrong with this movie
I don't need to, as I'm well aware of a lot of things wrong with the movie. I specifically wanted to pick on the racial aspect here. But, oh well, trash is trash. Nothing in that movie can be taken seriously.
@Calwri Nostalgia Critic and Cinema Sins are very funny you should still watch it. Anyway I just don't care what the race as long as they give a good performance
