I don't like dogs. When I was very young and I played with a puppy but the mother got mad at me and tried to bite me hard. I still care remember to this day. So I don't like dogs. When I was in grade 1 I was scared of a puppy because I was afraid the mother would show up and try to bite me.
Do you dislike all humans because there are humans out there who could hurt you as well? I get how these things come about, but you should work on trying to fix this because your way of thinking is irrational.
@Kkaos Actually I have PTSD because I had a two guys want to get me with an axe and I had a woman tried to rob me with a knife. I don't trust people either.
Wrong. All I said was you should try to work on fixing that. Your way of thinking isn't rational and you damn well know it. I never said it would be easy, but you shouldn't just accept your issues.
It's funny you mention death and it's a valid point you made. I used to be afraid of death but it seems the longer you live, the more shit that's thrown at you, you realize that this life isn't all that great anyway and then death doesn't become so scary. If someone is afraid of death, they must be having a great life... But then how can it be great if they're afraid? Lol
I think if you had the opportunity to raise a dog from a puppy, you'd have a different view. I certainly don't trust other peoples dogs, however my own, I would lay my life on the bet that they would never once intentionally hurt me.
@Kkaos You're being biased because you're a dog owner. That's not being rational. There was a woman who had her ear bitten off because he was playing around. Plenty of times I read stories where a dog bite the crap out of a child. I'm tired of dog owners who leave dog shit everywhere in parks and crap. Every one fears something and you know it. You're lying if you don't fear something. You're only 22 kid. You're too dumb to be afraid at your age. Been there done that when you get older it's different.
How is that being biased? If anything my opinion is automatically more valid than yours because I have a lot more experience with dogs than you do. And yes, I have been bitten and attacked by dogs before. Any dog who misbehaves is the fault of the owner, not the dog. Both my dogs are part wolf and they're giant for God sake and they wouldn't hurt me one bit. I can't guarantee that they wouldn't hurt others, but that's why I keep them on a leash and locked up at night like a responsible owner.
Did I ever say that nobody fears something? Too dumb to be afraid? That's ridiculous. I'm not a kid and discrediting what I say because I'm younger than you is not a valid argument.
@Kkaos You're 22 years old you're still a kid. You kids think you know it all. At least I was smart enough not to think I know it all. You haven't even lived half your life. You animals lovers are afraid to be alone. It's really pathetic. Human beings are pathetic because they are afraid to be alone.
@Kkaos why do you feel the need to have a pet then? It's for companionship. Also talking about your age wasn't an attack i was responding to your comment that pertains to it.
@Burpzzzzz I've had times when I've had no pets. Didn't feel lonely then. I got my dogs because I liked wolves and I enjoy having them around the house and caring for them. I'd certainly miss them if lost them, but then you'd miss anything that you care about.
@mullahstan Generally you'll find that people will give an opinion and then if people disagree with that opinion, they'll put forward their own opinion and discuss it... That's generally how things work.
@mullahstan What are you even doing here? I'm discussing a difference in opinion with someone. You're not even contributing to the discussion, rather going off topic about 'not accepting opinions'. How about you mind your own business.
@burpzzzzz Have I ever tried to lie to you? Did I ever say that I wouldn't be sad if a pet died? It seems you're more interested in making false accusations and calling people out on off topic things such as age just for the purpose of your shitty argument.
I said I wouldn't need a pet in order to not feel lonely. That's the truth. You don't know shit about me, I'm an introvert, I rarely feel lonely. And yes, I would be upset if my pet died because like anything that comes into your life that you care about, it is upsetting to lose that. I already talked about that.
@Kkaos my business is to express my opinion. I dont care if you don't like that. My opinion is that you look silly by arguing with others over random views.
@mullahstan Well that's life, pal. Do you really expect me to care what you think about me? The way this guy is talking it's like someone saying "I don't like black people, when I was young one tried to do... to me, and another tried to... to me" etc. It's irrational. And do you think people might have opinion against someone saying that? You fucking bet they would.
Now do you have anything more to say? We've already established you have no interest on staying on topic and that I clearly don't give a shit about what you think? So go on...
@Kkaos Funny how you attack me on your views. That was the problem. I didn't even mention I'm allergic to cat and dogs. it's bad enough that I don't want pets. You are trying to push your stupid views onto me. Dogs are treated better than homeless people these days. It's pathetic.
I'm not pushing my views, you can think the earth is flat for all I care. I'm just pointing out that your logic is flawed. That's a fact. You still have your opinion, that's fine. However you can't deny that your opinion is based on flawed logic.
My views are stupid? And what are my views exactly? Answer that one, brightspark. "dogs are treated better then homeless people" Oh really? Prove it.
Are stray dogs treated better than homeless people? Are homeless people killed if they attack someone? Are ALL homeless people instantly judged by idiots like you because you happened to have some bad experiences with some homeless people?
And whether you're allergic to dogs is irrelevant, don't get a dog as a pet. You specifically said you do not like dogs and then proceeded with irrational logic.
Anyways, I've said the facts. What I've said is true. I'm not looking to change your opinion, I'm just addressing that your reasons are not genuine reasons. Muting this now, goodbye.
Apparently no one likes barking? The main thing the dog is supposed to do is alert you when someone's here.. by barking. I think if you don't have a yard or time to actually play you shouldn't have a dog. Asphalt makes their paws raw so I'm against walking w/o shoes. If you have an all day job then guess where your dog's stuck bored all day. One hour outside is not enough everybody. Lol and the only nice cool cats I've met have been housebroken and free to be outside.

I guess this is where countries differ. Where I live I literally walk on tiles (sidewalk) for 5 min and i’m in a forest. Asphalt is different obviously, because it heats up. Tiles don’t, so walking dogs there is fine.
A big yard is def not a necessity to own a dog. What is a necessity, however, is being able to walk them at least three times a day and being home about 20 hours of the day.
You can't keep a dog on a leash outside all the time. Having a yard to run freely and feel home to keeps them from running away. I'm sure tiles are fine I can dig that. But pretty much every sidewalk or road is made from concrete, brick, stone anything hard for strength and rough for friction. See how you do barefoot for awhile on these surfaces. You'd lick your paws too. And your definitely right about how much companion time they need. A lot of people just get dogs to say they have one and pet for an hour after work before bed. Sleep. Then leave in the morning. Lol I just don't want to see one ignorantly mistreated by taking a walk
I guess i’m a different case because i’m barefoot outside all the time and no pain, lol.
Yeah well since we have parks and forests everywhere that’s where I let my dog off leash. But I have heard it’s very different in america, like people don’t even walk their dogs everyday but just let them do their business in the yard? That’s very strange here.
Really? You don't think its rude to go to the bathroom on someone else's lawn? That's a little hated man. That's also how your dog gets attacked in the street by the dog that lives there and is tired of you marking its territory. I know mine does and I'm proud of her for defending my yard from disrespect
oh they hate barking? nice... good thing we can tolerate all the babies crying in public places, including places they should not even be brought to. but that's ok too, I guess.
No way dude. Cats are way better. They don't follow you around all the time, and they don't slump all over you. Cats keep themselves clean. They don't bark over nothing. Cats are better in every respect. If I could get rid of my dog I would.
On the contrary, cats are excellent pets. I used to be strictly a dog person, but I've since come to realize that both dogs and cats are wonderful in their own ways. Dogs are good for unconditional love, companionship, and any sporting/obedience/work that they may be suited to. Cats are good for amusement, really. They make the funniest faces, especially when they play. Their meows are adorable and sometimes hilarious. And they do love their humans, although they may not show it in the obvious way like dogs do. And they're good for being low maintenance, if owners don't have time to go on several walks a day.
I have both a cat and a dog and I adore them both!
Not true. I like both dogs and cats. My cat was always at the door when I came home. It always wanted to be petted. Cats have also saved lives. There is a Putin’s pawsway where I live. They display stories of pets that saved their owner’s lives. There are many cats there.
@NatashaJ you know what also kills people? Everything on this planet. People with severe allergies could die of cats too. Agressive cats driven in a corner are very dangerous as well. Doesn’t make a cat better than a dog or visa versa.
There are less deaths from cats thou and to claim one species is evil is retarded since animals can't be evil. Humans can not animals. Funny for you to claim that when u were being ignorant to someone who has a great fear of dogs on here.
LOL... My comment is proving to be true... all the "Pussies" have there claws out and are being EVIL. Must because their kitty-cats haven't had anyone play with them in a while.
FYI, Only a Dumbass automatically thinks a Pitbull is dangerous... I knwo plenty of pitbulls that are around babies with no problem... it's how dogs are abused/raised that make them dangerous... actually Dalmations biter more people than Pitbulls.
Actually cats (big cats) kill more people than dogs... if we are going to stretch the BS... like others are doing.
Cats are for LAZY people that want a pet... but don't want to do the least to take care of it. Having fish takes more involvement than as cat. Also They walk were they SHIT and walk all over their owners/house, etc... which is why their houses stink.
As for cats saving people, LOL. I don't see any with the police searching for body/buried people. I never seen a video were a cat protects their owner from a robbery/etc... GTFOH, LOL.
I know how you feel, I felt the same about the two dogs I've had and others didn't understand. My condolences to your deceased dog, and I wish you many more years with your remaining dog <3

@mullahstan well actually, if our neighbours’ babies used to cry it would cause a chain reaction and other babies around would start crying.
And by the way, barking is a natural instinct for a dog, just like crying is for a baby.
no, dogs can't help it either and they also do it for a reason. cut the crap.
babies don't do that. dogs do, they're kind of dopey.
WHo DIsLikes DOgs?
Unless you have server allergies there is no excuse.
A person that hates dogs is a Lower grade of human being in my book.
Dogs are WAY BETTER than those soulless CATS. If a girl has cats that is a BIG red FLAG for me.
No way dude. Cats are way better. They don't follow you around all the time, and they don't slump all over you. Cats keep themselves clean. They don't bark over nothing. Cats are better in every respect. If I could get rid of my dog I would.
@Intraluminal CATS are EVIL... they FUCKING SUCK.
Most don't come to the door wait for you to come home... A dog can protect a family... unless it's a tiger/mountain lion a CAT can't.
Every search and rescue team uses dogs to save people... I never seen a CAt dig through rubble.
Cats are for people that want a pet but are too lazy and don't want to put in the time for a dog.
On the contrary, cats are excellent pets. I used to be strictly a dog person, but I've since come to realize that both dogs and cats are wonderful in their own ways. I was really hoping this would say "To the people that dislike dogs... FUCK YOU"
Agreed. If I just look sad or I sniffle, my dog rushes to my “rescue”. Animals are lovely things.
It's like my Mom used to say; 'If my dog doesn't like you, I don't like you'
I love Animals in general... and to be honest... in most cases more than humans.
I know how you feel, I felt the same about the two dogs I've had and others didn't understand. My condolences to your deceased dog, and I wish you many more years with your remaining dog <3
A cat can sense your mood and comfort you too. Some cats even defend their owners from physical attackers.
Dogs are cute
https://imgur.com/swmqWUt
... I still prefer cats though.
If only people loved their children as much as they love their pets...
Dogs are more loyal than people. They protect us... give us unconditional love... make us laugh... they can be your best friend. I love dogs.
I think people who grew up with dogs have a different perspective. To me, they were part of the family.
Dogs can be amazing at times, but also annoying. I have a trained German Shepherd named Marky Mark. We usually call him 'Marky' though. lol
Dogs are the best in the world they're so innocent man's best friend for sure
I don't trust people who don't like animals, not just dogs. I wouldn't want them in my life.
I'll never understand those people and we will never be friends
I don't mind pets in general but if I can't eat a meal in piece because of the pet we have a problem.
So many emotions. You should know that that is all they are and that you don't have to act on them all - it's a choice.
Dogs are great though, always loyal and happy to see you.
