I am hoping that serendipity will lead me to the right place.... it did.
SERENDIPITY IS:
The occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way.

synonyms: chance, happy chance, accident, happy accident, fluke;
I absolutely love this word, it hold so much meaning in it. I feel like every day is a chance for a serendipitous moment! I'm going to refer serendipity to love...
We've all had these moments, except some of us might've just missed it. Like you know in those movies where he runs out of the hospital and the doors slide closed to the elevator. She gets out, she’s looking down, he’s looking down, and they both miss each other. Tis' a serendipitous moment that almost happened haha!

However we tend to fail to see these moments because we're always searching for whatever perfection means to us and has been marketed to us. We're constantly looking out for whatever coming to be bigger and better... But can't we see that society is showing us the same people over and over again? Maybe that's a sign of the universe telling us to wake up, we're too comfortable in our lives.
I stumbled across the guy that I've been with and still with, he came at the time where I lost hope and my life was pretty much in pieces. When we met we found out that we are from the same area, we have mutual friends, hell we even were at the same places due to sport but we never met until that one day. At that point in time I was already over guys, I was already on the verge on staying single. But there was something about him that made me open my eyes and well let him into my small little messed up world.
Serendipity can happen in so many ways, doesn't have to be love. I'm not making this mytake to be like 'Oi, find love,' I'm just sharing about how serendipity means a lot to me because it's true we tend to stumble across things that well can make your day even when you're down in the deep stage of depression.
Examples of Serendipity:

We met future landlord (of our absolutely stunning beach front flat) at a small country pub while out drinking.
- I traveled from Dunedin to New Plymouth via the most milk route possible, for a Fleetwood Mac concert in December 2009, only to realise in Wellington that I’d forgotten my ticket at home back in Dunedin. I did end up getting myself a new ticket and getting to the concert – and spending the second half of the concert in the front of Gold Section.
Serendipity comes in so many different forms, it's like something that happens to you with a chance and it's like a lucky chance!
