The thing I learned about bullying is you really have to stand up for yourself. It won't stop until you do. You can't expect anyone else to fight your battles for you.
Talk to someone. Most people I think who are bullied refuse to tell anyone out of fear for backlash but you need to talk to someone. Keep any messages they send to you (if it's cyber) as proof of bullying and talk to an adult about this
If you're being bullied at 26 it is more definitively, more explicitly, a crime than in school. In school I consider it a grey area because kids (in particular teens) are idiots, their bodies and more importantly their minds have not fully matured and quite frankly are not yet properly functioning in an adult context. They are having to gradually work out how to be adults, and can find themselves quite literally violating peoples rights, and violating laws, without full comprehension of what they are doing.
But if people at your age are still behaving so atrociously, then it is a crime, at the very least harassment.
Why didn't you beat him up? I understand that he had a bunch of followers but maybe you could have jumped him when he was alone and you could have been wearing something that covered you up?

I've learned that too. It's not the only way though. Unfortunately some people can't stick up for theirselves
Was bullied before (not much, little things like everyone had), started hitting gym=everyone scared to even talk bad about me
Good for you. Cowering only let's the bullies win. Defeating them is showing you're stronger.
no, I think people are getting softer and blow this out of proportion
sticks and stones will break your bones but names will never harm you do good seek wisdom
i dont think so. It was much worse in the day, but much more publicized today. If anything i think its pretty minimized today.
Bully only the bullies
Thank you for this post. I hate bullying too.
