So true. It's fine to feel however you feel sometimes, but constantly wallowing in self-pity gets old and nobody likes a Debbie Downer.
Excellent Take.
Self pity is but one aspect of self absorption, which is never healthy.
If life is too much make sure you get help, every decision you make is it right/wrong? What are the consequences? Can you live with this. Don't be too hard on yourself if you stuff up.
Let one walk alone, committing no sin, with few wishes, like elephants in the forest.
Certainly better than your other take (s).
Everybody wants to get in on the pity-party.
It's easier to deal with what you know. Thanks for educating people on this. I've suffered it's cold grip for long...
Pretty good. I had that kind of emotion floating through me until i learned to take the positives of myself and become more confident with exercise (great therapy for letting your frustrations out).
I know that problem too well, especially with suicidal thoughts.
Self pity is for weak cowards. People need to toughen up.
Don't try to make clinically depressed people understand this tho. You would waste your time.
Self-pity is natural, but one must never waste time on it.
Don't be so hard on yourself, it is not your fault that miserable people like @Juxtapose exist
But... but I'm still a virgin at almost 25, the world owes me!!!
A great read. Thank you.
That sounds about right.
That was a great read. Thanks for your Take!
This is actually very true, it's a cycle
I've had plenty of self-pity in my life
I agree with that completely.
That's right, self-pity doesn't get you far
