Ladies and gentlemen. Being like every other girl or guy is not fun, because no one sees you for you, putting a mask on your true self isn't gonna make you popular or give you more friends. Being yourself does, and what I've learned from high school is, it's better to have a few close friends rather than a lot of fake ones.

Girls- A lot of girls want to be a barbie doll, they want the perfect body, the beautiful face. They want no issues. Girls wanna be curvy, and find love. But girly there are 100s just like that. The weight does NOT matter, there are plenty of guys who like Big, little, fat, skinny, flat... All kinds, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! I know what it's like to be super self-conscious, trust me I have been for years, but I've recently learned to be confident no matter what because you are all gorgeous. And all those guys that play with your heart don't know what they're missing because you all are amazingly beautiful, sweet, and just awesome. If any of you ladies ever have issues do NOT be afraid to talk to me honeys. I love you all

(Boys- I know for guys certain things don't bother you, but you are all handsome, and I know half of you have been played by girls, but I promise you being heartbroken doesn't mean its gonna happen all the time Like my mother always told me "Your heart needs to get hurt and heartbroken to heal stronger and better than before" Love can happen at any time no matter how old you are, my dad taught me this, You guys are all amazing in your own way and don't be afraid to talk to me either <3)

I've got rough news for ya, kid.

You are, on some level, just like everyone else.

You are not special. You are not different. You are not more [insert value] than anyone else.

But within this lies freedom.

You are the only YOU that you get.

Which means you get to build your own life, write your own story, make your own mistakes, etc.

And if you end up being "like 100s of other girls", that's fine. Because none of them are you.

You're going to find a lot of people who won't understand that.

Differences in opinion, in view, in context, etc don't make someone "fake".

What makes them "fake" is a label - and labels are false thinking.

But, all this "not like the other girls" shit aside - you hit the nail on the head.

You're right. Being yourself isn't just the best way to be, it's literally the only way to be.

I would caution feeling you're too special. It comes at quite a fall when you realize that in many ways, you fail just like other humans.

There's a book called "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck" that I think you might enjoy. It's a very Buddhist/classical Stoic read that I think will help set you up for continued success.

Because your realization now is amazing, important and powerful. And I look forward to seeing the ripples you cause in the fabric of the world. :3
