The Truth About Religion and it's Role in Modern Times - Part 1

OptimisticallyBryant

My two part take on

Since the beginning of time people always have wanted answers about the things out of their control and starting religions served as a comfort for people who needed to believe in something. Mind you every religion was started by regular men. As time passed men needed to change up the religions to put fear in other people to suit their desires of being powerful and honestly egotistical. Hence the constant revisions over the years of countless religions. Everyone wants to talk about their religion being the correct one and its "Holy" but they all have a "good" and "evil", which is used to promote fear. And if one is in fear to do certain things then the people in power will never be challenged. Most religions display horrific murders and mass genocide all in the name of their" God" but yet they say he is a "Merciful God". Depending where you are born in the world influenced the religion you have. Let's take Christianity for an example, if your born Christian as long as you believe in Jesus Christ you will be saved all other people will be damned to hell and vice versa. Lol its funny to me. With the latest events of Isil and other " Islamic radicals" the media wants to focus on repeatedly stating the fact that their Muslim and when the President wouldn't say "Islamic terrorist" the media was in an uproar because he wouldn't use the word "Islamic" to define the terrorist. A terrorist is a terrorist no matter what religion they believe in. People tend to forget that Hitler was VERY RELIGIOUS. Was he not a terrorist? Did he kill countless innocent people? Yes he did. People also tend forget the horrific things people have done in the name of Christianity. From the Crusades to the not so long ago slavery days. The media was outraged when the President pointed out this fact about both religions. Saying "This is the most ridiculous thing a President has EVER said". To be continued...
