Girls never seem to give me a chance or even a second glance so what is it that girls really want in a guy?

I'm 21 years old and have only ever had one girlfriend. I am 6'4, 210 pounds with dark brown hair and athletic body type, I do not drink, smoke, or do drugs. I work full-time in the healthcare field and have my own place. I'm not the best looking guy and I know I'm not, but I'm for sure not grotesque or anything, I'm actually a very clean person.

I'm a very nice person who would treat a girl right, no games, straight with what I want, Honest. I have pretty bad social anxiety which may be part of the reason girls will never give me a chance because when I first meet people I can be awkward. When I get to know someone though I'm like a totally different person.

My hobbies are pretty much anything nerdy; games, anime, manga, reading, computers, ect.. Now a lot of people will probably say my hobbies have something to do with it and that girls find that boring. Well to be honest I find "country" and things like that boring but it wouldn't be something I would judge or reject someone for.

So that's basically it any answers I get would be greatly appreciated!

What type of girls are you trying to meet or be with? It might be that you just haven't met the right type of women. If you are into more "nerdy" thing how about a women with similar hobbies. I watch anime with my SO and he is teaching me how to play magic. If you can come up with a list of physical, social, educational ideals of a partner sometimes it can help you become more aware of women around you that fit that. It might take time, but I'm sure there is a women out there for you.

Thanks for the advice I live in hick-town Illinois though and finding a girl with hobbies similar to mine almost isn't plausible and because of working third shift someone out of town isn't really plausible either unless they work the same shift as me.

The town I live in is different, but with a similar result. I tried online dating (though it took a long time), but I eventually found someone though he lives over an hour way and I only get to see him on weekends. It might take time, but if it is the right person I'm sure you will be able to make it work despite time or distance.

You sound awesome, but for me to date no. I'm not into anime. You would have to find someone who is into the same thing as you. Not to a T, but enough. You have a great head on your shoulders!! You will find a girl who loves you for you!! I promise!!

I don't know if its maybe the area where you live in but where in live everyone is into anime, games, and mangas. Maybe try looking for girls else where.
