+1 yI gave my ex a chain with a set of rings on it and I had the matching rings on a necklace i had he wore the chain for years because it was long enough that it was underneath his shirt. I even gave him a key to put onto it a few months after giving it to him and he wore that on the chain as well. I just wouldn't go to fancy with it. the rings and chains i gave to him were cheap and were really plain its really just the thought that counts... if you really want to give him a locket though I would avoid a heart shaped one, even if he really cares about you he's not going to want to walk around with his guy friends making fun of him for wearing a heart around his neck

one other tip like i said the chain was long enough that if he didn't want to be ragged on by his friends for wearing rings and a key from his girlfriend he didn't have to. get a long enough chain so that he can wear it without being insecure about it.
Asker+1 yThanks for the tip

+1 yI doubt that a guy would wear that. Lockets are really girly. There are guys who wear things like chains, crucifixes (if they're Christian), or other jewellery made for guys but I've never seen a guy wearing a locket. I know that my SO definitely wouldn't wear one even if it's from me.
Valentine's day is like 7 months away anyways.43 Reply
Asker+1 yTrue but his birthday is comming up real soon

If you know that he'd be happy with a locket, by all means buy it for him. But most guys really aren't into that sort of thing.
Asker+1 ythanks
+1 yI know I would.
My ex once made me an apple with a heart on it out of clay for Valentine's Day and put it on a chain necklace. It's a reference to V-Day and also a novel I've been working on for a long time.
I still wear it sometimes, especially if I just feel like I need to feel supported in something, because it makes me feel as though I have her support and good luck wishes accompanying me.32 Reply

Personally. Yes I would wear one.
Being the age the two of you are. I'm thinking the biggest issue with him would be what would the other guys think if he wore one.
Maybe what you could try is. The next time you're in a store together. Wander to the jewelry section and just start looking at things. Female jewelry. Ask something like. "How come you don't wear jewelry?" If he says cause he doesn't have any. Ask if he would wear if he had any.
You may get a straightforward yes or no. But at the least you will be able to judge whether he would or not.11 Reply
Asker+1 ythanks thats really help ful
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yPersonally I wouldn't and my guess would be the more metrosexual type guys would be the ones to... but it depends on the individual and also the type of jewellery. If it was a really nice locket and had a lovely picture in it then I might keep it somewhere close at hand as a token of her love

Asker+1 ythanks but I'm also in middle school so I don't know I'm scared he won't and most guys will only wear surtin pieces of jewelry witch makes since but I don't know about him
GEt him one of these, he'll probably wear it.

Some guy recommended something pretty good. Being him to the jewelry section and ask him casually if he like jewelry on him. If he gives you a big fat no then there's most of your answer. Reason I say "most" is because I myself don't wear or like jewelry on me. I think it kind of gets in the way of things BUT if it's something my girlfriend made and gave to me then it's a definite yes. I would love and appreciate it so much you have no idea. Wearing it would build my confidence believe it or not haha. So much sentimental value would go into it as well.
Asker+1 yLol and thanks ps i think i found the one that would be perfect
+1 yI would definitely weare it but only cauze it's from my lady

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yThere are lots of reasons I wouldn't wear it. First and main reason is it would be a pain in the ass and even dangerous with some of the work I do. The other main reason is I am not a jewelry type of guy. I would destroy it if I wore it.

Asker+1 yThat makes since but we r only in middle school and he's not really that type of guy

No he means something like this. Where you each wear half the locket.
www.findmeagift.com/.../...able-heart-necklace.jpg
Asker+1 yThats cute
Opinion Owner+1 yYes he is right that one
Asker+1 yBut someone sugested not to get a heart one bc people can make fun of him for wearing a heart
Opinion Owner+1 yWi dont think If I see sm1 wearing that make me laugh I will think that he has sm1 spcl in his life
+1 yI'm not really into jewellery. I would just make her my phone background or something.

Asker+1 yBut that doesn't show that u really love her
- +1 y
If a girl ever said that to me, I'd call her dumb and dump her.
Asker+1 yUm a locket does bc its something from them and has a pic of her in it it symbolizes that she is always on your mind and in your heart
- +1 y
You don't need a physical object to remember her if you're in love with her. What you're basically doing is making it impossible for him to even tell that he's in love with you. That's fucking dumb.
Asker+1 yAnd that's just stupid to dump her bc of what i said earlyier
- +1 y
No it's not. It shows she has no clue wtf she's talking about.
Asker+1 yNo it doesn't it may remind u how much u love her but it doesn't tell other people
- +1 y
IF HE'S IN LOVE WITH YOU, HE DOESN'T NEED A LOCKET! Get it?
- +1 y
He will literally think about you 24/7. Like a fucking disease.
Asker+1 yThats sweet but sometimes girls need to be reminded most guys can't just always remind u that and this is how 2
- +1 y
lol try it. See if he doesn't eventually get fed up with you.
Asker+1 yTrust me i know him he won't
- +1 y
Crazy kids. So much tolerance for bs lmao.
Asker+1 yLol wow
- +1 y
This shit wouldn't fly w/ a 30 year old guy. lol
Asker+1 yYeah well im only in my teen years lol

lol true. That's why I say, high bs tolerance :)
Asker+1 yYeah lol
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yGetting a person a present, is knowing your partner, not shopping for yourself
25 Reply
Asker+1 yTrue but i know that he really loves me and loves my smile and loves to see me everyday but days like this (summer) he can't so like i thought this would be a way so he can
Opinion Owner+1 yI'm just sayin', know your partner, not yourself
Asker+1 yTrue but he doesn't really wear jewelry so I don't know what to do
Opinion Owner+1 yThat's why you don't know your partner. If you knew your partner, you'd know what to get him. Find some stuff out about him, get to really know him. Understand the things he likes, not just the things you like
Asker+1 ythanks

www.amazon.com/.../ref=mp_s_a_1_7
Well I ended up giving it to my sister lol no way I was gonna wear that ugly ass thing. But if you have good taste in fashion, I'm sure he'll wear whatever you get him.
Asker+1 yThat is hidious lol and i do have good taste in fashion
+1 yIf he was going some place with his friends, then yeah, probably. But other than that? Not at all.

Asker+1 yWhy though
Only "jewelry" I'll wear is a watch.
110 Reply- +1 y
I don't even like watches unless I need them.
- +1 y
I am even less likely to wear a watch with a suit. The shirt cuffs fuck with it. I don't really think watches are dressy anymore. It's just a collector thing. And unless someone is rocking a Patek, I won't care.
Asker+1 yWell me and my guy dont wear watches i dont like the feel of them on my wrist
Asker+1 yAnd most people have phones so y need a watch
Asker+1 yIm not set on getting him a watch
Asker+1 yMany reasons ok it would mean a lot to him and to me
Asker+1 yIm not and u no what nvm
