+1 yNo, not true for all of them. I've been there and seen way too many actual Turkish faces that are the typical Central and far eastern Asian faces, mongoloid Faces. But yes there are some who are white and they are not very few. Still mixed with Many Turks but when you go to western Turkey they are more and that is because They are Not Turkish they bear some Greek and Ionians or maybe Romans Genes from the past, though mixed. Kurds Also have so many Blondes between them and they are not few in Turkey. There were a town of Yezidi Kurds in Iraq that I have red a book about it, The author Was impressed with their looks and how they looked exactly like Scandinavians. The Old Persians too were Nordics and even now the real Persians are a white minority.
So no all the Turkish people are not white and blonde and those who are are not racially Turkish.25 Reply- +1 y
Did you ever come to Turkey? If you've come to turkey, you lie talking.
- +1 y
and what is kurd? i dont know it
- +1 y
Yes I did come to Turkey two times when I was back there. And how can you live there and don't know Kurds? Kurds are the people who live east of turkey north east of Iraq and west of Iran, in an area that is parted between the three countries, so they live in all three countries.
- +1 y
i dont know it. because there is nothing.

+1 yThe only Turkish people I've met have been pale but with dark eyes. They're white in a different way than most Europeans - their skin tone is different, I don't know how to explain it. I for example am white with pink undertones and am about 90+% European ancestry (the other <10%, probably more like <2%, is Native American and Spanish, likely Arab and/or Sephardic)
07 Reply- +1 y
for example this?

Yeah kind of. That guy (you?) is a bit darker than I'm thinking. Hold on.
- +1 y
yes me
- +1 y
You look like my friend :) also - ugh I can't find a good picture, it's like... not a yellowish shade but there's a really specific skin shade that I've only ever seen in Turkish people and it's like - somewhere between white pale and East Asian pale but without the pinkish shade that European whites tend to have. Sorry lol not doing a great job of describing this.
by the way is Cem Dinc well known in Turkey? He's a basketball player and he's half Turkish half German and was on one of their national teams I think (?). - +1 y
And actually you might have the same skin tone I'm describing - the picture itself is dark but now that I look more closely...
- +1 y
yes i know cem dinc :)

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yLots of people in Europe knows that Turks can be blonde, it's because of Turkish conquest of Balkans, and mixing with local people. Nevertheless, blonde Turks are very rare.
Everybody knows that Turks are white.
Only some ignorant people in USA can't tell the difference between Turks, Arabs and Persians... these are three completely different nations.30 Reply
+1 yI would imagine most Northern Turkish people could be White and Blonde hair
and the Southern Turkish people would be darker skin with dark hair11 Reply- +1 y

571 opinions shared on Other topic. Just to say that a great part of the population is Muslim (and we all know how that affects society) and therefore we aren't really the same. True part of Turkey was once part of the Roman Empire, but still...
Some people have lighter hair, but that's certainly not all of the population.00 Reply788 opinions shared on Other topic. What?
I've been there a few times and most have clearly southern european/ middle eastern faces. Darker skin with brown or black hair. I couldn't always tell them apart from italians or Spanish20 ReplyTurkish range from white and blonde to black and brunettes. My boyfriend is half Turkish. He's white and brunettes. So yes Turisk people come in different colors :)

No, they are not.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yAns what does that add? Does it make people in Europe more tolerant about Islam?
Not all of them are white, a big part are tanned with black hair. The white ones have nothing to do with English or Danish white. They look like Bosnians20 Reply
