So this new song from Taylor Swift implies that guys like torture in a relationship to cherish it type of thing. ...

is it encouraging women to be psycho?

From personal experience and from what I've seen.. I actually am inclined to think it's partially true to some extent... see these couples where the girls gives her all, and she gets cheated on.. and then there's the other couple where she treats him like shit and he stays and is there for her... What is up with that?

So what do you think? Agree or Disagree?

VERY INTERESTING question I must say :-D

I don't know how or even if I'm going to poll but this is how I see it
1. What is said is certainly not a hard and fast rule
2. But a bit of the fem viles sure help keep us guys on our toes
3. It's a natural thing which is why we are made the way we are (both genders)
4. A guy loves excitement in a different way while a woman does in a different way
5. Keep a guy on his toes and he'll generally beg for what he isn't getting - guess we are made naturally that way
6. However, though his intensity towards her may step up multifold a guy who wants sex elsewhere is going to go get it either way :-)
7. Overdoing anything won't let any relationship last long - it'll go south after a point of time. So treat him or her shitty a bit too much and at some point of time it's going to wear & tear :-)

what she's basically saying is that boys don't want love if it's too easy. but she made of point of saying in an interview that she said boys for a reason - there are "men" who want love, only "boys" like the games. and this song and video is meant to making fun of the person that the media portray her as. but i mean, i kind of agree that it's true, depending on how loose or strong your definition of torture is haha

Well apparently she did it as a sarcastic comeback to everyone calling her boy crazy so she was like haha you want crazy I'll give you crazy.
Anyways no one wants to be treated like shit or abused by anyone, certainly not by someone who is supposed to treat them with love and respect. I hope people don't start to think that purposely hurting people because that is what love is, (which it isnt).

It's supposed to be a "fuck you" to the media and others, who are always criticizing her and her love life, saying something must be wrong with her for her to go through so many guys or whatever. So she's just giving them what they want. It's very sarcastic. She's not encouraging women to be psychos, she just made a parody/satire of the media's portrayal of her. It's kinda catchy.

It's about how the media portrays her as a serial dater, so she took that "character" to the extreme and wrote Blank Space. The whole song is satire.

It's all in how the listener prefers to interpret the song, irrelevant to the actual meaning.. and the words and message from the song to the listener are that, without analyzing anything else. Direct and to the point.
