Are you scared to switch to a new barber/hairdresser?

I drive 2 hours to see the guy I have always seen to get my hair cut because I am afraid a new barber will do a shitty job.

oh that's easy to test. Pick a hairstyle longer than what you plan for. If he pullsoff the style you picked the new guy's trustworthy (ie, he knows his shit, and cuts it like you want). If he fails, well, he need to fuck up REALLY bad if he cuts it so hort you can't simply just head over to your regular and cut it to the style you wanted originally.

I've had a hack job before, refused to pay and was very close to stabbing the guy with his own scissors! Nowadays I stick to reputable hair salons and avoid random barbers, you pay a bit more but you know they're not going to fuck it up.. you get brought drinks and have a head massage too! lol

Yes! I drive an hour away for my hairdresser! She's been doing my hair since I was a little girl! One time (2 years ago) ... I couldn't travel to see my usual hairdresser because I was so busy... Soooo... I went to Style America. I told the hairdresser to trim half an inch off. She ended up cutting 5 inches off my hair!!!

No, but maybe it's because I get my hair cut at a hair school, and I get a new person every other time I go. XD I just make sure I bring lots of pictures if what I want.

Yeah, I am. I've learned I can't let just ANYONE attend to my tresses. I moved away from my hairdresser but I will definitely travel to go see her if I have to lol
