How to beg a professor to pass you?

Anonymous
I took economics this semester and it was a lot harder than I expected. Failed the first 2 tests (45 and 55) but did pretty decent on the homework assignments, plus I showed up to every class and did every extra credit opportunity.

I took my final exam this morning at 7 AM, and I had calculated that I needed a 77 on it to get a C in the class. Somehow she graded all the exams in the 6 hours its been since we took the final, so online my score for it is a 70. Where it tallies up my overall grade, I have a 64.25 for the class, a D. The minimum for a C for her is a 66.

However, this is only on her personal grading website. She hasn't submitted my grade to the actual college yet, so I'm praying there is still hope.

Our final was all open-ended problems, and she is very picky with the wording. She said she will be in her office on Monday if anyone wants to talk to her, so I might be able to argue a couple of the problems and get my grade raised? I only need another 7 points.

Also, she hasn't factored in attendance at all in my grade, as nearly all professors I've taken have done. I made it to every single class this semester, and always made sure to sign my name on the attendance sheet, so I should have a 100% for attendance, but no where on her grading system or syllabus does she say if attendance is worth anything.

So how do I try and convince her to give me a C? I'm 1.25 points away, and really don't want to have to retake this class next semester. Do you think she will feel bad for me and bump my grade up before submitting it to the college? Should I email her/talk to her in person and beg her to give me and extra 1.25 points? Or should I just accept it?
