Pedophilic or not? Does this video really contain pedophilia?

I love Sia. She is a true artist. Her videos, her costumes, her style. Everything related with her, is true artistic.

Her last video is piece of art and I really do not get how people see Pedophilia in here.

This is just strong acting. There is nothing sexual. What do you think?

As far as I can see, they are just dancing and the dancing doesn't appear to be... I don't know what you call it. Like neither of the dancers are rubbing up against with thigh rocking or overtly sexually suggestive moves. Rather, most of the touching of eachother appears to represent some kind emotional struggle between two characters?

The girl is obviously young, but without any sexual acts I can't say its pedophillic. The male dancer like when lifting her up on his shoulders appears to be showing extreme caution in making sure she doesn't fall. It seems professional. It seems to tell a story of some kind, but I'm not privy to what its about.

So my answer is no, its not.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are pedos watching though. The internet is a big place.

It's because people are brainwashed and want to find every excuse in the world to think someone is a pedophile. I dated a 17 year old at 23 and got called a pedophile. If people would actually google the definition of "pedophile" they'd realize that truly wasn't the case. But anyway people's views on pedophilia seem to be one-way. If there is a movie and there is a 4 year old running around with his ding dong hanging out "oh it' s just a kid, it doesn't matter' but if it were a 4 year old girl with her vag in plain site "WOW WTF IS THIS CHILD p*rn ." I remember seeing something about a famous female singer kissing a 12 year old boy on the lips on stage and everyone cheered and clapped. If it were a man who did that to a 12 year old girl, he'd be in prison.

However, the sexual suggestion is remarkable.
Societies have enacted multitudes of laws in attempts to protect children from predators.
That's what we are supposed to do, protect what is most valuable to us.
A tape like this is not a threat to children nor does it create predators.
But that's an entirely different thread.
Sexuality and art have always been closely associated.
You will take some heat over this from the lower middle classes that see sex and Jesus in their breakfast cereal.

Not even a little bit... Not even at all. Why would anybody think that? Because he looks like an old man and she looks like a little girl? Because they are almost naked? They don't even look "sexy"? I don't see how anybody would even think that... But definitely one of the weirdest, strangest yet interesting video I have seen in a while... I felt sad actually at the end... Melancholic feeling... He can't get out... Why can't he get out... That is too sad... I don't see sex here at all or anything that relates to sex at all.

I read something that said the video was meant to represent Sia's relationship with her father and how their respective struggles with mental illness have affected them and their relationships. You can see how eventually Sia escapes the cage of illness but still tries to help her father at the end.

Other than the cloths being "skin colored" I don't see anything pornographic. Seems like they are friends but the man is trapped in a cage and is only aloud being with her under very strict terms.

side note: I love their facial expressions sense they don't talk in the video they show their emotions visually.

And your example is different. Woman has to cover herself more than a man. A man can be half naked wearing just a short but woman would be almost naked in that condition.
Women are more visual.
And I don't think she perceives him a half naked man. She doesn't have that perception like a grown up. This is why he is very careful. He is aware of that he is acting with a kid.
