Guys with long nails, why 😨😰?

i've noticed some of men keep their nails long like girls 🙊
is there any reason why? Like do they make you easier to play the guitar? 😨😰

I've heard it is a new trend after kpop celebrity keeps his nail long and he wears nail polishes 🙊😅
But would you want to grow your nail like girls and apply nail polishes?

My nails are always pretty long, i just like it better, besides mine are easy to take care off, its like they take care of itselves. :D yes, im so lazy i know... by the way, playing guitar with long nails really isn't a good idea. The shorter your nails, the better it goes. (yes, i used to play guitar few years ago, before i got used to my long nails)

I usually keep my nails a bit longer than most guys, i still leave a little bit of white on my nails. That's just because they get really uncomfortable when i cut them as short as most guys do. Honestly, its a hassle because my nails grow so fast, i have to cut them at least 3 times a week to keep them at the same length. Sometimes they get a bit longer than normal when i forget to cut them on the days that i usually cut them.

And as for the guitar thing, having nails any longer than mine would actually make it more difficult because they would get in the way when you press down the strings on the fingerboard.

I've heard that in some Asian cultures long nails (or even just a long pinky fingernail) is a status symbol. It shows that you don't work with your hands, or something along those lines?

I like to let my nails grow out a bit. They're very fragile, so I enjoy any length I can get. They're usually not long. But if we're talking sex, long nails are more harmful to vaginas than they are to penises

If they are using it for guitar they'd have short nails on their left hand so they're out of the way playing notes and longer on the right hand for strumming or picking.

Do girls have reason for their long nail? I keep my left thumb's nail long... it is very long... and why you have excuse for that? A guitarist would only have long nails on one hand. I've done that in the past when I was learning classical guitar. It was a pain, though. My nails kept breaking on me.
