How to pay for someone else's phone bill (Sprint)?

So, my dad cancelled my phone plan. I told my boyfriend about it, and he wants to pay for it himself. The thing is, neither of us know how to do that. Do I need an entirely new phone? Can I switch carriers? Do I need a new phone number? Should I get a SIM card?

He cancelled the plan, so you'd need to get a new one. If you want to stay with Sprint, I'd go to their store or call them and ask about it.

Why can't you just accept your father's actions? He cancelled your phone plan for a reason. Odds are that he is doing it for your own good.

I would call customer service and see how that is done. Most of the time companies don't care who pays the balance.
