When you say "Hostility (discrimination)", are you saying hostility and discrimination are the same thing? Or why did you put discrimination in parenthesis?
Do you have examples of hostility or discrimination towards a specific gender?
I don't understand your down vote comment. How do down votes prove issues with a person's partner loving video games? I'm assuming that comment was directed at someone else, but I'm having trouble figuring out who.
When I said Hostility and discrimination I used my own words to define it.
One excellent example proofs today the high divorce rate in America. Many men report, that they got screwed over and lost their house (sometimes the children too) and went near bankrupt if not while the woman made these gains. The divorce court tends to take the females in favor far more often than men. I'm not sure why or if there is a story behind it but really many do report so. This results men turning to be MGTOW (Men going their own way). This is a discrimination against men.
Another great example is the past, where females did not have as many rights as men such as riding a bike and applying for certain jobs. That is some kind of discrimination against females. They are humans as much as men are and needed equal rights.
About the downvote thingy, I am just trying to figure out why people disagree with me (so that it makes at least some sense) ;) It's not like I hurt somebody with it, did I?
Do you view someone representing a person as a stereotype, or representing a person as a means just to receive pleasure, as discrimination?
I'm not saying I do or don't, I'm just curious what you think.
Some people call representing a minority as a stereotype, as racist. So I'm curious if representing a man or woman as a stereotype, is sexist. Because I don't see a reason to distinguish the two.
There was a question somewhere else about having up/down votes in comments not just opinions. I said I would rather it be required people explain why they down voted. Not that I want to sway people not to down vote. I just want to understand why they did. So I understand you trying to to figure out why they did it.
I view a person (individual) as representing its very own self. One does not speak on behalf the majority, yet some narrow minded plonkers think it is that way. That's where the stats come in to prove something (stats can lie too!). I don't really believe in stereotypes, so I do not judge someone as a stereotype until I get fairly sufficient and confirmed information to do so. There are always people, that are not like the majority. However there is still the majority, that are like the others, which forms the stereotype but then again, I am not to judge a possibly different person in the middle of the same-minded crowd.

No, video games are not sexist. You can even choose your own gender now.
games are made to appeal more to their crowd and that's all it is
So you would rather all GTA characters to be woman?
Troll?
If not then in what way is it sexist? Do respond if you want to.
I'm not saying they are or not. I'm just putting forth the debate. But feel free to argue against any if the people here arguing that they are.
Oh, I see.
I hope you did not take any offense by my statement.
I think people, who say that video games are sexist don't even know what "sexist" actually means.
What does sexist mean?
Sexism - Hostility (discrimination) against a specific gender in any way.
by the way... the downvotes proof, that they had issues with their partner loving video games ;)

That's correct.
