my ex-boyfriend told me i was a bad kisser a couple of times after we broken up and then again a year later, he has been my only boyfriend that i have had and since then i have never felt comfortable kissing a guy so i never did... but now there is a new guy that i am interested in and is also interested in me and i am so nervous to kiss him because i don't want him to think i am bad.

and then recently my friend said (in an innocent way, she doesn't know what he had said) that kissing is everything and if it's bad then it's a deal breaker... i'm just really self concious now

All this stuff is bullshit, different people kiss differently, with someone new you get used to them and they get used to you, you adjust stuff and get some good kisses going. Don't worry about it.
