Dude do not wish her any Happy Birthday, when a person asks for space and limiter contact, especially when it's about love interest, what they usually want but don't say is this 'I don't want any contact from you, just get the hint and leave me alone.'

By not wishing her happy birthday, you are showing her that you are done with it too, if she causes drama that why didn't you wish her a happy birthday, you can simply reply with 'You said it yourself that you wanted space and limited contact, so this is exactly what you are getting from me'.

I personally wouldn’t, they asked for space and you should respect that. You also should respect yourself too, saying Happy Birthday will not change anything and playing it nicely will not either. Give them what they asked for and focus on achieving your goals

Remember they wanted to get away from you so they should reach out first.
