Men have too much stress because too much is expected of them and almost nobody even cares about them. Stress shortens lives. Being a sole provider for a family is a lot of stress when everyone's survival and happiness depends upon you. Men are expected to do more physically demanding stuff, so we get all kinds of aches and pains as we get older. Men are the majority of combat soldiers in the military (over 99%) of actual combatants. Men also play more physically demanding sports and suffer the consequences (boxing, NFL, Hockey, etc) They take much harder hits than women in those sports. It adds up. My advice: If you want your husband/boyfriend to live longer and be in good health, instead of asking him to help with chores on the weekend, ask him to do 30 minutes on a stationary bike and 30 minutes of strength training each week. It will help a lot.
From what I know, there is nothing in our biology that says women have to necessarily outlive men. If both were in the exact same environment, with the same food and shelter and what not, they'd live give or take the same amount. But men disrupt the statistics by having a few guys die off early from accidents or violence, and then more guys die slightly earlier than women due to accumulating more stress throughout their life.
Well, I think it's because women are usually more careful, they're aware of the risks they will take if they try something. They have good eating habits (generally speaking) and they usually work out more.
That's part of it xD But also because men work the dangerous and tougher jobs. You don't see many women, or even just 1, working the mines, in construction, as firefighters... that's why more than 95% of work related deaths are males.
It's sexual behavior because you mentioned "pussy" in your poll options. Women are less prone to heart diseases and respiratory problems and this has been statistically proved. Men die earlier because of cardiovascular problems due to stress and are more likely to take up more dangerous jobs and meet with more accidents.
